The Blood of Jesus Christ is the Most Powerful Force in the Universe

David Wilkerson, Andrew Murray and Charles Spurgeon have all said "The precious Blood of Jesus Christ is the most Powerful Force in the Universe."
JESUS PAID IT ALL
Life is in the blood ~~ Lev. 17:14
This teaching has changed my life. It is not a formula because Almighty God is Sovereign. This is a summary of a 200 page teaching manual.
LIFE IS IN THE BLOOD
Lev. 17:14
When blood is removed, it terminates life. The blood was God’s ordained means of effecting and bringing atonement, both the in Old Testament with animals. Used to cleanse – to forgive – to ransom. In the New Testament, Jesus Christ - one time paid it all; Romans 5:11
Greek = reconciliation = returning to divine favor. Wow.
A quote from David Wilkerson and Charles Spurgeon… “The blood of Jesus Christ is the most powerful force in the universe."
When blood is removed, it terminates life. The blood was God’s ordained means of affecting and bringing atonement. In the Old
Testament, God used the blood of animals. The word ‘atonement’ in the Old Testament is used 69 times. In Hebrew, it means ‘to cleanse,
to forgive, to ransom’. In the New Testament, the word ‘atonement’ which in Greek means, ‘returning to the divine favor.'
Psalm 119:164, David tells us to “praise the Lord” seven times a day! The atonement of Jesus Christ is worth praising the Lord seven times a
day.
The story behind this summary of the Power of the Precious Blood of Jesus Christ.
Like most Christians, I have observed Communion all my life. Several years ago after reading I Cor. 11:17-34, I realized that Communion had
become a ritual to me. I began to study the ‘blood’ in the Word of God and I was astonished.
I felt led by the Holy Spirit to study the first Passover in Exodus 12 where God told Moses to strike blood around the door and when they
obeyed, they were delivered from Egypt. The word ‘strike’ means to apply, not plead. You do not plead with the Lord for anything that He
has already given to you.
Then I recalled that the church where I grew up supported Israel. Every Sunday, about 200 of the congregation would gather for an hour of
Communion before the worship service. I remember seeing many of them on their knees, weeping as they celebrated Communion. When
they were finished, they would sing a hymn, just like Jesus did after His last Passover with the disciples. (Matt. 26:26-30)
THE MYSTERIES OF THE NEW TESTAMENT
The Mystery or Secret of the Kingdom of Heaven. This is the first mystery and there are 14 mysteries in the New Testament. That is a mystery. The Greek definition “musterion” = imposed silence, secret. Used only in the New Testament.
The mysteries of God can only be understood by believers through the power of the Holy Spirit; Col. 1:24-29
The first time Jesus mentioned the word ‘church’ was in Matthew 16:18,19, “And I say also unto thee, that thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church. And the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven; and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.”
Jesus said 4 things:
It is My church
I will build it
The gates of hell will not prevail
I will give you the keys to the Kingdom of Heaven.
What is the kingdom of Heaven? God’s government on earth.
1. It’s a mystery; Matt. 13:11
2. It was the first sermon that John the Baptist and Jesus Christ preached – “repent, for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand”. Matt. 3:2; 4:17
What the Kingdom of Heaven is NOT:
The Kingdom is not made up of a particular race of family or nationality. Whosoever shall do the will of our Father in heaven, the same is our brother, and sister, and mother. Matt. 12:50
The Kingdom is neither Jew not Greek, bond not free, male nor female, for ye are all on in Christ Jesus. Galatians 3:28
The Kingdom of Heaven is not a building. John 4:21-24
The Kingdom of Heaven is not a corporation of the state. John 15:4
Jesus said on a couple of occasions that He would give us the Keys (competent authority). Matt. 16:19; Rev. 3:7
The ancient Scriptures predicted the Kingdom of Heaven. The New Testament proclaims that it has arrived!
Why would Jesus give us the keys of authority?
1. God created us as His temple, with the Holy Spirit within – what an awesome thought! I Cor. 3:16,17
2. God then gave us the keys to spiritual authority – Matt. 16:19
3. When Jesus went to Heaven, He left the Holy Spirit for us, who will do 33 things – Acts 1:7,8
“Christians today need to be informed about the various mysteries because ALL the deeper matters of Scripture are predicted upon understanding them.”
Why is this so important?

The word ‘blood’ is mentioned 447 in the Bible.
God used blood to free Israel and introduce the Passover. Exodus chapter 12: v. 7 – Israelites were instructed to strike the blood on the side and top of the doorposts. 'Strike’ in Hebrew means ‘to apply’. This is the only place in all of Scripture where the word ‘strike’ is used.
In the Scripture, the Blood is spoken of in two ways: blood shed and blood sprinkled! By David Wilkerson (April 1996)
Without a doubt, the blood of Jesus Christ is the most precious gift our heavenly Father has given to His church. Yet so few Christians understand its value and virtue. Christians often sing about the power of the blood. Indeed, the anthem of the Pentecostal church is, “There is power, power, wonder-working power in the precious blood of the Lamb”.
But most believers seldom enter into the power of that blood. We simply do not comprehend the great significance of the blood. For example: We constantly “plead the blood” as some kind of mystical formula of protection. But few Christians can explain its great glory and benefits.
If I were to ask you what the power of the blood means, you might answers, “it means that my sins are remitted – that I’m free from the bondage of iniquity – that all my sins are covered.” Yet, beyond forgiveness, what does the blood of Jesus Christ mean to you? Can you explain to me, to your family, to a coworker the value and virtue of the blood of Jesus?
I want to give you a fuller understanding of the preciousness of Jesus’ blood – and how it can work wonderful changes in your life!
When those who have not been sprinkled are in trouble, they call their best friend or a counselor, or they wallow in fear and condemnation. But those sprinkled with blood immediately stand on Jesus’ blood! We often hear the phrase ‘pleading the blood’ used in Christian circles. But this is not a Scriptural term. The word ‘plead’ here means ‘argument; and it suggests begging, beseeching. And that is a defensive mode.
I believe our attitude must be stronger than that. We are warriors – blood- bought, blood-saved, more than conquerors through Jesus Christ! WE are not in a courtroom with the devil, pleading a case. No – we are victors! Jesus has won the victory for us; His blood has prevailed. And I believe our battle cry should be, “I proclaim the victory of the blood of Jesus! I am blood-washed, blood-bought,
blood-justified, blood-safe, and blood ransomed. And I proclaim the victory of the blood of Jesus!”
Where Did the blood of Jesus Christ Go When He Died? Where is the Blood of Jesus today?
Charles Spurgeon, prince of preachers, tells us: “when we climb into heaven itself…. We shall not have gone beyond the
influence of the Blood of sprinkling: nay, we shall see it {the Blood} where more truly present than in any other place. “That!” you say, “the blood of Jesus in Heaven?” Yes! Let those who take lightly of the precious blood correct their view ere they be guilty of blasphemy” (CH Spurgeon, “The Blood of Sprinkling”, Metropolitan Tabernacle Pulpit).
Again, Spurgeon said, “the Lord has gone there [to Heaven] and has sprinkled His blood on the mercy seat”. When did Jesus sprinkle His blood on the Heavenly Mercy Seat? According to Dr. DeHaan, Medical Doctor, Jesus Christ ascended to His Heavenly Father before anyone
could touch Him (John 20:11-18) key verse is 17. The Holy Spirit tells us that the New Covenant could not take place until the Blood of Jesus Christ entered the heavenly Holy Place and became our High Priest, could our sins be forgiven; Heb. 9:6-11; 23-28; 10:19-25.
Key point: as believers, we now have access to our High Priest, Jesus Christ 24/7.
THE BLOOD APPLIED IN HEAVEN
By Ron Stewart
Jesus Christ is now our High Priest. Hebrews 4:14-16
Just as the Jewish high priest was required to enter into the holy of holies once a year, likewise Christ had to enter into the Holy of Holies to appear before God. The Old Testament tabernacle was divided into three parts: the outer court, the inner court and then the holy of holies. Only certain priests who followed certain cleansing rituals were allowed into the inner court. Absolutely no one could enter into the holy of holies except a certain high priest once a year.
Disobeying certain rules meant death. For example, if the high priest entered into the holy of holies without the lamb’s
blood, God would have killed him. The blood atonement was sacred to God. Christ’s blood is a serious matter to God. We must not make alight of something that God holds dear. Forasmuch as you know that you were not redeemed with corruptible things, as
silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your father; but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot”. I Peter 1:18,19). Jesus is precious! Jesus’ blood is precious!
Carefully note that the word “atonement” is an Old Testament word which means “to cover”. Jesus DIDN’T merely cover our sins, He took them away forever with His blood. Amen! This is why, when speaking of Christ’s work of redemption, I refer to His “blood sacrifice” instead of using the word ”atonement." What a wonderful and loving God, that He would provide salvation to us through His own suffering and sacrifice. Surely there is not greater love than this. Do you fail to see God’s love toward mankind? If so, it is only because of your sinful
unbelief. Believe my friend and let God have His way with your heart.
COMMUNION
Communion, like so many essential points of Biblical doctrine, has fallen into the mire of tradition. The Lord’s Table is the only Biblical celebration in the New Testament.
Consider our preparation for Christmas and Easter…. Dozens, if not hundreds of hours. For Communion, we spend 10-15 minutes once a month in most church, with little knowledge of what we are doing. Read: I Cor. 11:17-34
There is healing (divine intervention) in the Passover and Communion:
“Surely he hath borne our griefs and carried our sorrows; yet we did esteem him
stricken, smitten of God and afflicted. But he was wounded for our
transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace
was upon him; and with his stirpes we are healed.” Isaiah 53:4,5
“But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of that bread and drink of that
cup. For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateht and drinketh darnation
to himself, not discerning the Lord’s body. For this cause many are weak and
sickly among you, and many sleep. For if we would judge ourselves, we should
not be judged.” I Cor. 11:28-31
NOW. BEGIN WITH COMMUNION.
EXALTING, PRAISING AND WORSHIPPING THE LORD JESUS CHRIST.
Repent for your own sins and get right with GOD first. If you carry any offence against anyone – release and forgive them now.
Additional Spiritual Tip:
Fast and pray once a week.
Take communion once a week
Realign under the Headship of Jesus by getting right with God before Communion.
Celebrate Communion, thanking God for the 23 mind blowing facts about Jesus
death and resurrection:
Before the Cross
On the Cross
After the Cross
“The Blood of Jesus Christ is regarded by God as the most important agent given to us” I Peter 1:19 ~~ Charles Spurgeon
Taking Communion Daily or as Often as You Decide
This prayer can be applied to any situation in your life:
Father, I thank you for the victory! I thank you that my child is Your child! I thank You that his/her spiritual eyes are being opened to Your goodness! I now stand in FAITH and I BELIEVE and TRUST YOU for my child’s life! Apply the blood of
Jesus Christ to any situation in your life.
“Father, I come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, who shed His Precious Blood that I might have the victory in everything that Satan throws at me! I being my [child] before you now and claim him/her for the Kingdom of God! I refuse to
let Satan take them away from me.
By an act of my faith, I draw a Blood line and apply the Precious Blood around my child’s spirit, soul and physical body! I draw the Blood line around his/her education, performance, friendships and everything that concerns him/her! I know Father, that YOU will perfect his/her life. Satan, I remind you of the Blood of Jesus that covers my house, business, marriage, family! You cannot cross this blood line in the name and the authority of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, who defeated you by His death and resurrection! I bind you from operating against my child any further in the Name of Jesus!"

God did not promise days without pain, laughter without sorrow, or sun without rain. But he did promise strength for the day, comfort for the tears, and light for the way.
If God brings you to it, He will bring you through it:
The essence of life.
