God only chose to name TWO things to be the apple of His eye:
1. God’s Holy Word – Proverbs 7:1-4
2. Israel – Deut. 32:10; Psalms 17:8
‘Apple’ in Hebrew means: pupil.
The Cleveland Clinic describes the function of the eye: What does the pupil do? Your pupil lets light into your eye as the muscles of your iris change its shape. The lens in your eye focuses light that passes through your pupil. Light then goes to the back of your eye and hits your retina.
Your retina turns light into electrical signals...Your brain receives these signals and turns them into images. This is how you’re able to see.
Two muscles in your iris control how your pupil opens and closes. The iris dilator muscle opens your pupil from the inside out. It sort of looks like a sun with rays extending out form the middle. The iris sphincter is a circular muscle that controls closing your pupil.
Your pupils are important parts of your vision system. Pupil issues can suggest certain diseases. It’s good to do what you can to keep yourself and your eyes healthy.
What is the pupil of the eye?
The pupil of your eye is the black hole in the middle of your iris. The pupil get bigger or smaller in response to changes in light. Muscles in the iris control the size of the pupil. Your iris is the colored part of your eye. Muscles in your iris control how big the pupil is. Usually, this happens as a result of how much light is available which makes the pupil an important part of your vision system.
Example: when driving your car, the pupil permits where you go directly to your brain to give the correction information to make a decision to: STOP (red light) CAUTION (yellow light) GO (green light)
ISRAEL is mentioned over 2500 times in the Bible and Jerusalem, over 800 times. God promises us blessings if we honor and support Israel.
This also includes the promises give to Abraham; Gen. 12:1-3; Psalm 122:6-9; Gal. 3:14; 28,29
This promise of Jesus Christ to the Gentiles opens the door to:
· Repentance of sin
· Eternal life in Heaven
A Biblical Worldview of the Word of God (The Bible) will change your Life.
The Word of God was written approximately over 1500 years by 40 writers, all Jewish except for Dr. Luke, who wrote the Gospel of Luke and the Book of Acts. All 40 writers were inspired by the Holy Spirit.
Jesus Christ was Jewish as were all 12 disciples.
David, in his last words, thanked the Lord for this honor of being anointed of God; II Samuel 23:1-3
ALL scripture is given by inspiration (divine breathed) of God; II Timothy 3:16,17
David said in Psalm 119: 9-16:
1. Cleanse our way – because of God’s Word
2. I will hide God’s Word in our hearts so that we might not sin against HIM.
3. I will meditate in the Word of god
4. I will not forget Thy Word
It is amazing to me how the Holy Spirit links the two apples (pupils) of His eye to each other.

5. Why Did God choose Israel to be He Apple of His Eye, as His Chosen People.
My personal application:
1. Israel. The world is calling for a two-state solution but the Bible says that God names the boundaries of Israel. Numbers 14. Israel gave away Gaza in 2005 for the sake of having peace and look what has happened when God’s Word is disobeyed.
2. The apple of God’s eye gives us principles for many things, including:
a. Marriage
b. Finances
c. How to handle trials
d. How to overcome fear and worry
e. And many, many more….
There are over 7,000 languages in the world and as far as I know, the word, HALLELUJAH, Meaning, PRAISE THE LORD, is pronounced the same.
Please feel free to pass this on to others.

God did not promise days without pain, laughter without sorrow, or sun without rain. But he did promise strength for the day, comfort for the tears, and light for the way.
If God brings you to it, He will bring you through it:
The essence of life.
